I spotted rows upon rows of pink blossoms swaying in the wind this morning on my way to work and as impulse had me swerving to the curb, I consulted the dashboard clock to see if I even had time for a diversion to go quench my compulsion to capture them in my little silver camera. No luck, but later, most definitely.
Instead I walked into work on time and was welcomed by some chairs who showed up from Lee yesterday during my mid week weekend. They are absolutely divine. And while I love a neutral chair, the first thing that comes to mind when I see a pretty one is usually, 'What color will I use with it to make things interesting?'
So I chose the cherry blossom pattern today even before I made it back to the selections to see if I agreed with myself. I do. And it'd be fun to create a whole space around this fun fabric, going either way with the spa color way or the blossom red.
It is another blustery spring day out with giant gray clouds and I'm the last standing lunatic I'm sure that can't get enough of the crazy spring weather.

Parade Home Exterior Finishes
We submitted our selections for the exterior finishes last week for the parade home. I love the colors we selected because I feel like they are current while staying true to the craftsman style of the home. We want the color scheme to be restful and interesting.

Market Monday: 50% Hooker Furniture Sale
We are crazy busy at Noble House getting ready for our Hooker Furniture sale this weekend. Pre-orders have been stacking up and I'm grateful for those early birds getting their orders taken care of before the mad rush.
Fitting then that my Market Monday feature is a reminder about the 50% off sale this Wednesday through Saturday right? I thought so. I love a good deal, and this is one for sure.
Not local? We can drop ship.

Parade of Homes this summer
Big news for us here at Noble House - we have teamed up with Haskell Homes to be in the Parade of Homes this summer!
I was thrilled when I saw the plans for the first time today because the craftsman style is one of my personal favorites and the floor plan will be a lot of fun to work with because of the reasonable size and layout.
They brought us in at the beginning stages so we picked the exterior materials today: stucco color, stone, door style, roofing, fascia and garage color... et al. Have I mentioned how much I enjoy making decisions? I really love it.
Next up: Interior colors with a big focus on the kitchen. I plan to keep you posted as we work on this home. It will be a really fun project for us!

Sam Moore Custom Chairs 50% Off
Two weeks to go until our Big Sale and I've already been placing orders for excited clients. Sam Moore is one of the lines that will be 50% off March 16th through the 19th at Noble House and this includes custom orders. I love this company for their reasonable prices {even before the sale} and the fun fabrics available in this line.
Their site may not be so pretty, but the chairs definitely are. Check them out online, then if you live close by come sit in a few of them on our showroom floor. Oh, and if you love history like I do, check out the story behind Sam Moore. I also love that they are made in the beautiful USA.
{I don't get paid by my company to post about our events. I'm doing this because I'm excited about it and know that half off is a steal when it comes to custom orders.}

shameless product plug: Arteriors
It's market time again and as I've been dreaming about the possibilities for new inventory, I've been browsing some of my favorite sources for inspiration. Arteriors never lets me down. I love this line!
Gorgeous lamps. I can't pick a favorite, although the one made out of mussel shells is pretty great.
Super fun and unique accessories. I can think of lots of places for these, {and some of them would actually make it to a client's home too}.

to market to market
I'm wearing my comfiest shoes ready to take on 5 million square feet stuffed with goods. OK, so not every showroom is accessible to tiny stores like us, but you get the picture: market is HUGE. And there is one more building since the last time I was there 3 years ago.
In the past when I've been to market I was buying for a different look completely from the one I'm hoping to find this week. Working for very traditional stores has made it easy to spot that particular style and know what will sell. Breaking away from that look will be a breath of fresh air for me and I'm very excited to bring a new look to Noble House. I'm crossing my fingers that the types of things I've been dreaming about can be found at the Las Vegas World Market.
I really do love market. It's not a relaxing day at the shops where buying is leisurely. There is a much higher level of energy, and method to the madness. Buying for invisible customers is brain bending at times. "I love it, but will everyone else?!" Seeing reps from lines we carry is fun and then there is the crazy entertainment wandering the halls {we're in Vegas after all} and the pretty decent free food piled up all over the place.
But my very favorite thing about Vegas? Leaving it!!!
