Electric Car Owners Plug Into Bellevue

Electric car owners are on the rise in Bellevue with options ranging from the ubergreen Nissan Leaf to the swanky Tesla Roadster. To respond to the increasing demand, The Bellevue Collection just installed 15 charging stations so shoppers can recharge their electric cars while they shop.

According to this article from BellevuePatch, local workplaces that have installed charging stations, or plan to, include Microsoft, Nintendo and Puget Sound Energy. In all, nearly 100 public charging stations have been installed so far in Washington and Oregon.

Of course, most electric car owners will plan on recharging their cars at home each night rather than while they are out shopping. Lucky for new buyers at One Main Street Condominiums, the controlled-access parking garage offers homeowners with electric cars the ability to plug in and recharge while they sleep. Ask Trisha Quigley for details when you visit the site, open Saturday through Wednesday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 10000 Main Street, Bellevue.
