Artist Spotlight: John Ford

As a lover of all things beautiful, including Friday afternoons, I thought I would share with you some work of an amazing artist I know. John Ford is a painter based in Connecticut who paints very beautiful landscape scenes of New England (I love you New England) and Ireland. They are very serene but also quite dramatic. I like them because they appear soft without being cliche. Here is his bio and he shows at Paessagio Gallery in Hartford.

Orange Glow.

The Singing Cliffs.

Pont St. George.

Soft Light.

Winter Nocturne.

I would love to have one of his paintings for my mini but growing collection of art. I love the quality of the light and texture in each one. Some of them even appear abstract.
