The Daily Journal of Commerce is reporting today that Uwajimaya will move it's east Bellevue store next spring to a larger location closer to Downtown Bellevue, in the shopping center that was formerly occupied by Larry's Market. This popular Asian grocery store and market will have 35,000 square feet in the new space (compared to 23,000 square feet in the current space). That space is about half of the former Larry's Market space.
That also puts them a lot closer for shopping from One Main Street, giving homeowners another great option for fresh meats and produce and unique products that only Uwajimaya carries. We say, welcome to the neighborhood!
